Dr. Kravitz and his staff are caring professionals who take the fear out of dental visits. They are truly patient-centric. The treatment rooms have TV's in the ceiling so you can pick up cooking tips from Molto Mario and forget that someone has their hand in your mouth.
A friend referred me to the Center for Dental Health and I am very thankful for the referral. Get ready to have a new dental experience at the Center that you won’t forget! I was warmly greeted by the staff and within moments lead to the chair by my hygienist Shirley for a cleaning. Both the conversation and the cleaning were top-notch. Afterwards Dr. Kravitz came in and not only checked for any dental issues but also gave polite advice for how to better brush. The advice he gave me is probably what I most appreciate from the visit because I was doing things that were detrimental to my teeth. But. best of all – something that my previous Dentist did – I wasn’t scolded for not flossing enough!

As I was browsing through a Health Fair at American University, I stopped by Dr. Kravitz and Brenda’s table. I stopped there almost by accident, passing two other dental exhibits, which were also exhibiting that day. Perhaps it was Brenda’s enthusiasm, and Joe Kravitz’ honest smile that won me over. As I perused through the material available, Brenda and Dr. Kravitz approached me with a friendly demeanor. Up to that point in my life, I have been using partials and unhappy about it for the longest time. Since the age of 13, when my front teeth were extracted by an unscrupulous dental mechanic, I felt like an incomplete person; always embarrassed to smile. What I saw here was different. I noticed a technique never heard of before. Dr. Kravitz optimism that my beautiful smile was attainable in spite of my 59 years won me over. He then briefly explained his technique and I was impressed by the amazing technique, which meant fewer invasions and less pain in the process. A still small voice in my brain said to me: “Now it is the right time to do this.”

It took me almost a lifetime for the blessing of finding Joe Kravitz, but now that I have found him, my hope and my faith in the world have increased a hundred fold!"

I really needed to find a good dentist for the kind of complicated dental work I needed. I had gone from one dentist to another with average success. So when my daughter, Brenda, convinced me that her boss was this great dentist, it took me six months but I finally agreed to pay him a visit. Upon seeing the beautiful, luxurious office that he shares with Dr. Morrison, I asked myself, 'Can I afford this?' But it turned out that they offered me a great payment plan that fitted my budget. I had my very first implant and a bone graft done by Dr. Kravitz at 8:30 am and went straight to work. It took all but 1 ½ hrs for the procedure to be done. There was no bleeding and no pain. That evening I went salsa dancing with some friends feeling no pain. The next evening I went to my karate class, I was waiting for the pain to start – but still with no pain! Not one drop of blood with no pain is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to have my second implant! I am truly amazed. I recommend him to anyone who has apprehension about going to the dentist!
